Now, this one IS interesting...here's my take on this one:
Seeing that they've already picked up 6 prior Oil castoffs, hey, why not make it seven? If anything, at least take a shot at their most prized waiver candidate.
Of course, the injury risk probably makes this the type of move that Dougy Mac, not Howson, would make - then again, there's the Oil connection.
Oh yeah, he's pricey, so, never mind (sigh)...that is, unless they can obtain time via re-entry waivers. Now, THAT scenario, given the history between Howson and Edmonton, might make sense.
