Here is another 3rd jersey design sent in by Patrick:

cbj3rdjersey

Some thoughts from Patrick on his design:

"It's a fairly drastic change as far as layout goes, and I also altered the color scheme, both to replicate a Union Army Civil War Uniform.  Gone is the red and silver, with a light gold and white in their place.  I didn't want to even touch a new logo design so I just stylized some text and used that for now.  Another thing that I really missed on the jerseys this year was the JHM patch, so I brought a new version of it back to my 3rd jersey."

Excellent work Patrick!!

New CBJ logo suggestion
written by CBJ_Nut, March 04, 2010

Here's a suggestion for the logo for the 3rd jersey.

Detroit has the "winged wheel".

Given its history, Columbus should put a "spinning wheel" (as in being "stuck") on the front of its sweater. smilies/cry.gif

This is a GREAT example of an awesome third sweater. I like everything about it. I wouldn't even worry about a logo.
Great look!

Aside from the logo, this sweater has a great look. I tend to agree with the previous blogger, skip the large logo on the front and leave the "Blue Jackets" text as stylized in the picture. Looks great. Maybe add a smaller version of one of the logos (like the Civil War hat) somewhere (shoulder, maybe).

Good job. I hope the final version of the 3rd jersey will be something special.
Great Work!
