What happens when a snowball rolls downhill?
It gets BIGGER!!
That is exactly what is happening with this road trip to Nashville on 11.19.11!
Not only have the Jacket Backers sold out one bus!! Now they have TWO sold out! In fact the 2nd bus sold out within 10 days of announcing it. This, will still over 25 days until the season opening puck drops!!
Man, I love Columbus hockey fans!
So far there are 96 deposits for the bus package as well as 30 ticket only packages sold. That is over 126 Jacket Backers making the trip. The goal is to have a 200 Jacket Backers rockin music city on 11.19.11!!
So in order to make that occur it was clear one thing needed to happen ----- add a 3rd bus!!!
Now that my friends is what I call a natural hat trick!
In addition to the 3rd bus and some plans/surprises already in the works for the bus trip down -- the digital dynamo himself, Skraut, will be hooking us up with all his videos to show on the ride down. If that isn't enough, Skraut is also going to include some classic Blue Jackets games to play to get all of our blue blood pumping.
Also Signs By Tomorrow out of Dublin has offered to make us a few banners to bring with us. We plan to do some fun things with those which will be announced at a later date.
Now for those already going let me make a few suggestions -- start thinking about some unique things you could do to make this trip extra special and really show this Jackets team our support. I'm talkin signs, flags, hats, chants, adding more CBJ swag to your regular game day ensemble, painted faces, anything blue that lights up, fake (or real) tattoos -- nothing is off limits! Get those creative juices flowin and let's put on a show! Believe me this team will notice and besides -- who doesn't like to dress up?!! Think Blue Jackets Halloween in Nashville!!
